No one says anything for a while, and as we walk, I notice the dark stain is leading the way. They must’ve dragged me this way after finding me. We come to the spot I remember waking up in. The ground is stained red.
“Well this is embarrassing,” I mutter.
“How the hell are you still alive?” Tony asks.
I have a few theories on this. The fall wasn’t that far down, maybe Kadaj helped me out, Jake and Travis patched me up just in time, Miracles, the fact I may or may not have a bit of Tank blood in me- but there’s no way I’m saying that.

Jake reaches out and pulls me back before I can step anywhere near The Drop. I understand his caution. Last time we were down here, I fell down The Drop. I don’t know how long I was down there, I only remember falling, a sharp pain, and then waking up with Jake and Travis freaking out. I don’t know or want to know what they must’ve thought when they found me. I must’ve looked dead. Due to the grim expression on Jake’s face, I think that assumption is correct.
“Don’t worry,” I tell him, “There’s no way in hell I’m falling down that again.”
Jake do
“Dave. Dave wake up!”
My eyes open to see Travis kneeled down next to me, a panicked look on his face. It’s dark. The bulbs that had been lit when I fell asleep are dark now. How long have I been sleeping?
“Dave something’s here.”
That causes me to jump up, “Where?”
“I don’t know,” Travis stands next me, “But it’s close. Too close.”
I look down at Jake and Tony, and both are still sleeping. So Travis thought to wake me up first. Good call.
“How far can you release a charge?” I ask, my mi
So here I am stuck following Bassem, Scythe, and Gilder walking down this maze of hell. There aren’t as many mutants down here as there were before, which is strange. Every once in while a Scorpion or a Lurker appeared, only to be decapitated by either Travis or Jake. I was forced to take the lead, seeing as I had the only available light source. With Kadaj at my side, the tunnel seemed even eerier, with his red glow staining the walls. With the combination of Kadaj being activated, the pace we’re keeping, and the long ass time we’ve spent walking around, I’m starting to tire. I hope it doesn’t show, but
“You okay Tanner?” I ask, walking back over to him.
“It almost bit me,” Dave’s in shock, staring blankly at the creature in question. He looks so horrified, and it only makes me feel worse for bringing him here.
“We’ll it’s dead now,” I tell him, trying to sound optimistic. I offer him a hand up, “Come on let’s go.”
He doesn’t say anything, or even glare at me, but he takes my hand and I pull him up. Great. Gwen’s never going to let me hear the end of this.
“Great job scaring him for life.”

Jake’s POV
“Oh boy, this looks even creepier than the last time we were down here,” Travis rolls his eyes, “Exactly why are we down here again?”
“Because the shifters think something’s down here,” I say.
That’s a lie. There’s a real reason that I’ve asked them to come with me, but I can’t tell them. Especially around Dave. The last thing I need is for him to be calling me a schizophrenic again.
Speaking of Dave, he’s still unconscious, I guess I knocked him out harder than I should’ve, but it kept him quiet. I leave Tony and
We walk a few meters away before I finally get revenge on Travis.
“OW!” Travis yelped yanking his hand back, “You bit me!”
“That’s what you get!” I snarled, spitting at the ground in front of him, “And you can put me down fuckass!”
“If I put you down you’ll make a run for it, so no,” Jake says.
“Oh please I have my dignity you know.”
“Do you? Do you really?” Jake smirks and I’m feeling the need to kick him repeatedly in the head.
It’s obvious that I’m not getting out of
I’m woken up by someone calling my name. I can’t remember what I was dreaming about, all I know that now I’m glaring up at two boys that I really would like to avoid today.
“Why the fuck is it always you two?” I ask to no one in particular.
“Dave we want to go out, but Hannah won’t let us. She says we need to take you with us,” Travis says eyes pleading.
I blink lazily at him, “And I’d agree to this, why?”
“Oh come on Dave please!” Travis begs me, but he and I both know that begging doesn’t work on me. I lived with a
My name is David Tanner. And right now I simply want to MURDER Jake Bassem. It’s his fault I’m in this mess and I’ll be damned if I don’t get to yell at him for it. I can hear him now, ramming himself repeatedly into the bars of his cell, thinking that with his oh so perfect super strength that he’s gonna bust out. Unfortunately for him something or someone turns on the electric pulses inside the fence. I can hear the energy coming from my own bars, sadly for Jake, he doesn’t and when he rams into the bars again, he screams bloody murder. Normally I’d find any sort of pain of his amusing, but

Okay, before I go on I should warn you I've been playing WAY to much Metroid, reading WAY too many Greek and Roman myths (yeah that's right people do that for fun), and spending a TON of time watching my niece and nephew.
Also recently I got to hang out with none other than Riley~LevitatorGod (https://www.deviantart.com/levitatorgod), Mark :iconStaryWolfOrion:, and Robin :iconWolfPrincessLarka: for the first time all together like this. Let me just start out by saying for a bunch of people I met online and never really talked to much myself, they're great people.
Robin aka :iconWolfPrincessLarka: was in visiting family and she's from CANADA! She's one of the sweetest g
Well, if you guys knew me from Becoming Special's tumblr days, then you'll know who I am. I'm the same girl who wrote that fanfic about Kurosaki dying. Wow...I think I jinxed it. Anyway. I'm taking requests for fanfics, but I do like to do my own stuff. So right now. I'm going to be writing a fanfiction for ~Dave12396 (https://www.deviantart.com/dave12396) using the version of him from :iconjayzfeather4ever: and :iconGirlScoutTrooper:'s story Being Special. yeah. This'll be real fun.
It happens to all newcomers on DA. You have to understand that there are literally MILLIONS of people all over the globe on this site. You're lucky if you get page views. My only advice for her would be to join one of the groups on DA. If she does that, then it'll help get her stuff out there, and with people who have the same interests as her.
